Manchester United are reportedly set for a significant financial boost thanks to Jadon Sancho's Champions League exploits for Borussia Dortmund.

The winger joined Dortmund on loan in January after falling out with United manager Erik ten Hag. Despite failing to fire at Old Trafford, he is rekindling the form that led to the Red Devils forking out £73 million ($85m) to sign him from the German giants in 2021. Following his successful efforts to help BVB reach the Champions League final, United look set to receive a tidy sum.

THE EXPLANATION
According to BBC Sport, the Red Devils included additional payment clauses dependent on appearances and achievements at Dortmund, meaning they could receive €4 million (£3.4m/$4.3m) in bonus payments. The report adds as the 24-year-old has featured in the majority of Dortmund's games since joining them on loan in January, it is thought they could receive all of that £3.4m.
